Registration for both Indoors Ultimate Frisbee and Dodge Ball are now officially open as of Thursday, the 30th of October 2014, 8PM! Registration will remain open until Wednesday, the 8th of November 2014, 12AM. The submitter is obliged to thoroughly go through the registration rules and regulations prior filling in the registration form itself. Upon completion of the forms, you will be emailing it to brusheff@gmail.com. BruSheff members went out for an Ice-Skating session last Saturday, the 25th of October at the Don Valley Ice Rink on Worksop Road. Socials of the such are initiatives made by the Bruneians to further deepen their relationship with one another. The social ended with a group photo and dinner.

BruSheff held a Tahun Baru Hijrah 1436H celebration on the 24th of October 2014, which was held at the Croft House, Sheffield.  The event kicked-off with the recitation of the Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by the recital of the Do'a Akhir Tahun serta wirid. Attendees then performed the Solat Maghrib berjemaah followed by the Do'a Awal Tahun Hijrah. The event proceeded with a mass Yaasin and Tahlil recital, and a mass Isya' prayer. BruSheff would like to wish everyone a very Happy and Prosperous New Year and all the best with the coming year.

BruSheff held an Ice-Breaking Session and Amazing Race on Saturday, the 11th of October 2014, at Weston Park. The gathering aimed at introducing the new Sheffield juniors to their peers as well as their seniors to further nurture the relationship between Bruneians studying in Sheffield. The gathering began with the recitation of Al-Fatihah led by the Male Religious Officer, after which a few games were conducted to help everyone get acquainted with each other. The day progressed with an Amazing Race, in which the juniors were split into groups consisting other juniors and a senior or two, in which they were required to venture around Sheffield following the provided clues. The first 3 teams to complete the race won confectionery prizes, while the other teams received certificates of participation. The day concluded with closing prayer and a group photo. Bruneians in Sheffield, despite being far away from home, still got to get together on Friday, October the 3rd, to celebrate Hari Raya Aidiladha at Aspect 3 Common Room, Edward Street. The event started with the takbir recital by all that were in attendance, followed by a short tazkirah and ended with refreshments.
