BruSheff Annual Ice-Breaking Event & Amazing Race 2014

BruSheff held an Ice-Breaking Session and Amazing Race on Saturday, the 11th of October 2014, at Weston Park. The gathering aimed at introducing the new Sheffield juniors to their peers as well as their seniors to further nurture the relationship between Bruneians studying in Sheffield.

The gathering began with the recitation of Al-Fatihah led by the Male Religious Officer, after which a few games were conducted to help everyone get acquainted with each other. The day progressed with an Amazing Race, in which the juniors were split into groups consisting other juniors and a senior or two, in which they were required to venture around Sheffield following the provided clues. The first 3 teams to complete the race won confectionery prizes, while the other teams received certificates of participation.

The day concluded with closing prayer and a group photo. BruSheff takes pride in organising events of such as it is a means for fellow Bruneians to build on their relationship mutually.
