Announcement: Brunei Yorkshire Games 2017

After 6 years of hosting Brunei Yorkshire Games (BYG), we the Brunei Sheffield Society (BruSheff) will be hosting the 7th Brunei Yorkshire Games on the 11th of November 2017.

This year, we are teaming up with BruLeeds Society and BruYork Society to bring this event to you.

For 6 years in a row, the Brunei Yorkshire Games includes DodgeBall and Frisbee. These sports are usually not offered during regular sports meets. To enhance the uniqueness that BruSheff has preserve since the society's establishment, we have decided to add a third sport this year. So, the 7th BYG will include DodgeBall, Frisbee and 3x3 Basketball.

The aim of adding this third sport is to attract and encourage Bruneian students all over the United Kingdom to participate in the upcoming sports events. Not only that, we also aim to create and strengthen relationships between societies and students.

The Brunei Yorkshire Games aims to offer fun and engaging games that everyone can easily pick up due to their casualness without eliminating the element of competitiveness in the twist – this is what makes these sports meet unique and fresh.

So, gather your teams and prepare for this year's game!
