Yorkshire Khatam Al-Quran 2012

BruLeeds hosted the Yorkshire Khatam Al-Quran for this year in collaboration with five other Brunei societies from Sheffield (BruSheff), York (BruYork), Newcastle (BNS), Bradford (BruBrad) and Hull (BruHull). Also in attendance was the guest of honor, Hjh Azizan DP Hj Othman and representatives of Unit Penuntut- Penuntut(UPP)

Date: 24 March 2012 (Saturday)

Venue: Community Hall, Leeds

Time: 8am – 1 pm

The event consisted of the recitation of Al-Fatihah led by BruBrad, ayat ayat lazim led by BruLeeds, takhtim led by BNS, dikir led by BruHull, ceritificate giving ceremony and ‘menabur bunga rampai’ by the guest of honour and representatives from UPP and lastly the recitation of Doa Khatam by BruSheff.
