BRUNEI students in the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland expressed their gratitude for the golden opportunity to meet and greet His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and Her Majesty Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha and other members of the royal family during the Get-Together Ceremony with citizens and residents of Brunei Darussalam last Sunday. The night of Boxing Day, 26th of December 2014, Sheffield was graced with heavy snowfall. BruSheff members took to the streets and parks to play and sledge in the snow. It was one of the highest recorded snowfalls of years past, making it all the more special.

The Brunei Winter Games (BWG) was organised by Brunei Students Society Cardiff (BRUSCA) in collaboration with Brunei Students Union (BSU) this year, whereby the traditional futsal-netball-badminton sports combination were opened for registration. Held on the Sunday of December 21st, BruSheff made their way to Talybont Sports Village, Cardiff at 2 in the morning, being amongst the first ones to arrive at the venue that day. As you all know, Junjung Ziarah 2014 is coming up soon, and what better time to post some information regarding the event that is sure to be beneficial to those attending. The event will take place on Sunday, 28 December 2014 / 6 Rabiulawal 1436H at London Hilton on Park Lane. The registration deadline for the event is open now.
