Assalamualaikum, Good evening everyone, I just would like to inform that there will be a career talk by Petroleum Brunei (PB) , who will be coming to Liverpool on 9th december , which is next week. This career talk is open to all Bruneian undergraduate and postgraduate students which hold any type of MOE/ Brunei government scholarships who are doing courses in any line of Engineering, Aerospace, Geology, Geophysics and Geosciences , except for Brunei Shell scholarship students . This talk is also for those who are interested in working with local Oil & Gas production in the industry after they graduate. Salam, The next Quranic Circle will be tomorrow night same time and place as last week. Date: Thursday Night, 19th November 2009 Time: 6.30 PM onwards (We shall gather to pray for the Isya' and then initiate the reictal of the Qur'an). Venue: Aspect3 (Girls' Place) Remember to bring along your Qur'an (with translation preferably) and prayer mats. Go-Kart Racing

Salam, and Hi everyone, Just a very quick announcement. We will be organising a much anticipated Go-kart Racing event for the first time. Just wanted to inform everyone regarding the date of the event. I've decided to put it on 19th December (the 1st day of Christmas Holiday). Just the perfect date and time to have fun after the end of semester. The Go-kart racing event will be held at Parkwood Karting located at Parkwood Road, just next to Sheffield Ski Village. This afternoon, I called the office responsible for the Go-karts, and asked them mainly about price and the number of participants needed for a race. As long as we decide and confirm on how many people joining, they can come up with the format of the race. Salam and hi everyone, Just a quick update for you all, next week Saturday the 14th, Give It A Go! will be having a walk to Peak District Ladybower. Vital facts for interested people to know: Venue: Meet at entrance to Sheffield Train Station at 09:45 Price: £2.50 + Train (£3.15 WITH RAILCARD) = £5.65 Attire: Use walking boots/shoes and don't wear jeans; make sure you have waterproofs and bring lunch, water and money for the train.
