Salam, and Hi everyone, Just a very quick announcement. We will be organising a much anticipated Go-kart Racing event for the first time. Just wanted to inform everyone regarding the date of the event. I've decided to put it on 19th December (the 1st day of Christmas Holiday). Just the perfect date and time to have fun after the end of semester. The Go-kart racing event will be held at Parkwood Karting located at Parkwood Road, just next to Sheffield Ski Village. This afternoon, I called the office responsible for the Go-karts, and asked them mainly about price and the number of participants needed for a race. As long as we decide and confirm on how many people joining, they can come up with the format of the race. Vital facts for interested people to know: Venue: Meet at entrance to Sheffield Train Station at 09:45 Price: £2.50 + Train (£3.15 WITH RAILCARD) = £5.65 Attire: Use walking boots/shoes and don't wear jeans; make sure you have waterproofs and bring lunch, water and money for the train.
